What You’ll Do:
- Manage equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates
- Handle purchasing and release of non-commodity items
- Oversee submittal, operations, maintenance, and closeout processes
- Negotiate and price change orders
- Develop initial project schedules
- Submit RFIs and review responses for scope impact
- Provide project details to Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Fabrication Divisions
- Collaborate with the Virtual Construction Department on detailing information
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on Project Management experience in commercial, heavy industrial, or mission-critical construction
- Experience managing long-term projects (1 year duration)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & project management software
- Understanding of business principles like strategic planning, cost forecasting, and resource coordination
- Excellent communication & diplomacy skills when working with owners, GCs, subcontractors, and engineers
- Knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, blueprints, specifications, and building codes
