Senior Project Manager – Commercial & Industrial Construction
Location: Richmond, VA
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead and drive success across large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This pivotal role involves managing customer relationships, contracts, job costs, and project forecasting while mentoring and developing Project Managers (PMs) and Project Engineers (PEs).

A Day in the Life:
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
- Develop schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for project completion
- Serve as the Business Manager for construction projects
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager to procure materials, equipment, and subcontracts
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, operations & maintenance documents, and project closeouts
- Negotiate and manage change orders
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents
- Interpret project specifications and make key decisions regarding equipment, materials, and subcontractors
- Manage project forecasting for revenue, cost-to-complete, and expected gross profit
You Should Have:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial project management experience
- Proven experience managing projects exceeding $10M
- Ability to oversee the continuous flow of materials and labor for long-term projects
- Electrical trade knowledge and OSHA 30 certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
