As an Autonomous Fleet Specialist you’ll be assisting our development and production operations in a safe, efficient, and precise manner at Kodiak.
This role is based in Lancaster, TX and will have some limited travel required.

As an Autonomous Fleet Specialist you’ll be assisting our development and production operations in a safe, efficient, and precise manner at Kodiak.

In this role, you will:
- Communicate with multiple Operations team members, in an energetic and courteous manner
- Manage and update info accordingly within the company's Truck Management System
- Creates and maintains SOP documentation for operations processes
- Develop and improve the monitoring and auditing of fleet issues - candidates should be able to give technical insights to the rest of the engineering team on top issues and suggested improvements to make the fleet operations run smoother
- Assist with AV system setup which includes cross-checks through checklist and other required health checks
- Be a motivated individual with the ability to work under high stress situations while continuing good judgment
- The ability to use critical thinking and possess excellent problem solving skills - candidates should have previous experience debugging/working within complex systems and find this type of work exciting
- Knowledge in Google Office such as spreadsheets, docs, drive, etc
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Comfortable in Linux based systems and basic computer networking - candidate should have previous experience (could be work or personal) using Linux and command line tools and be able to demonstrate common/basic linux based commands
