We are currently seeking a qualified Consumer Equipment Sales Professional focused on serving customers in the Dealership's western business territory out of the Oxford, OH location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and assess potential market of Territory in terms of segmentation and opportunity.
- Develop Territory Business Plan including both strategy and tactics to achieve metrics and budget.
- Develop and maintain mutual business relationships with residential, commercial and governmental customers in an assigned geography consistent with their needs/wants and dealership margin potential. Accept primary responsibility for the new equipment market penetration at assigned dealership.
- Regularly and consistently call on all assigned accounts and maintain their profiles completely and accurately.
- Coordinate the merchandising of new and used complete goods consistent with a clean and professional dealership image. Promote dealership accessibility by scheduling and working extended seasonal hours. Ensure a positive retail experience for all customers.
- Offer equipment solutions (new and pre-owned) including appropriate financing at pricing (margin) which covers three times (3X) base compensation.
- Thoroughly evaluate and accurately price all machines offered on trade. Assume personal and primary responsibility for the profitable resale of those machines.
- Promote Performance Edge (planned maintenance) during the selling process of eligible new equipment.
- Provide back-up for in-store Sales Team for new and used equipment; passing on sales leads to the assigned representative.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in annual budget planning and goals planning and implementation geared towards KEI metrics.
- Attend learning sessions at dealership and external locations as required.
- Assist in the planning, budgeting and expense control of the department.
- Work with Lot Coordinator, assisting with the lot display and merchandising.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a comparable industry.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include Saturday.
- Strong customer relation and inter-personal skills, ability to communicate effectively and attention to detail.
- Applicable knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
- Commitment and adherence to established processes, maintain standards and address issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Functional understanding of financial reporting principles relative to complete goods (new and used) operations.
- Effective time management skills.
