BDC Representative Job Description
As a BDC Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This may involve online interactions, text messaging, phone calls, or email correspondence.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls and schedule appointments.
- Respond to internet inquiries to facilitate appointments at our dealership.
- Contact customers after their visit to gauge their experience.
- Help customers select vehicles and promote model options, features, and services via phone, email, text, or chat.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation in our CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date on all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Key Qualifications:
- A clear, articulate, and pleasant speaking voice.
- A self-starter with customer service and/or telephone contact experience.
- Dependability and punctuality, with a commitment to reporting to work every day on time.
- A friendly and upbeat demeanor, with a preference for talking on the phone and helping people find answers.
- The ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and email.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (writing and speaking).
- Excellent follow-up skills.
- A commitment to following the assigned work schedule, which may include evening and Saturday hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
- An excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Proficient computer and internet skills.
- Sales experience is a plus (any industry).
