Job Description
The Director of Client Project Management will lead a team of project managers and oversee the successful execution of Kofile’s portfolio of projects for key customer accounts including the management of processing client orders. This role involves managing client relationships, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery, and driving operational efficiency. The Director will work closely with clients, internal teams, and senior leadership to ensure projects meet or exceed customer expectations while aligning with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and order processors.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the resources, training, and guidance to succeed.
- Develop Project Management and Order Management team vision and strategy.
- Work closely with other departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure alignment and the timely delivery of project goals.
- Must communicate effectively at all levels from C-Suite to technicians via all methods (verbal, written, data, visual) to ensure effective project portfolio execution and to drive decision making processes.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex customer projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide detailed reporting on project portfolio statuses, timelines, and potential obstacles to senior management.
- Ensure team’s adherence to thorough documentation for each project, including plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resolutions.
- Client Relationship & Customer Satisfaction Management:
- Serve along with the Sales Representative as a primary point of contact for high-priority customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction, project success and proactively address concerns to maintain long-term relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and customer retention through exceptional service delivery.
- Resolve any issues or escalations from clients quickly and effectively to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the success of the portfolio of projects and the team’s overall performance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project and order management processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize order processing, delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that professional project management best practices are followed consistently across all accounts.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP or similar Project Management certification is highly desirable.
- 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven ability to navigate complex projects and drive teams to deliver excellent results.
- Strong background in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Required Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence effectively with clients, internal teams, and senior leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., NetSuite, Visio, SmartSheet, Microsoft Suite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, effective time management and organizational management skills.
- Client-focused with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term goals.
