Join Our Team: Psychotherapist (Associate, Intern Therapist)

The Kohan Foundation Counseling Center is excited to invite skilled and compassionate Psychotherapists to become part of our team. We are seeking dedicated professionals with experience supporting children, couples, and adults in achieving their mental health goals within a collaborative and welcoming work environment.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a valid BBS registration number.
• Availability to work two evenings per week (3-8 PM) is essential.
• Previous experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to use Practice Mate calendar (training provided).

Role Overview:

• Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to individual and couples' needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes and treatment plans.
• Participate in quarterly team meetings to contribute to a supportive clinical culture.
• Attend two units of group supervision (required).

Qualifications:

• A strong academic foundation and a Master’s Degree in mental health or counseling.
• Familiarity with DSM-V diagnoses and the ability to create effective treatment plans.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise with diverse populations, including children, couples, and adults.

Schedule Options:

• Self-directed schedule with flexible hours, 7 days a week.
• Openings for both Part-Time and Full-Time positions, requiring a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week.

Compensation:

• Administrative Hours (Non-Clinical): $16 per hour.
• Clinical Hours:
  • $30.00 per completed session, when seeing up to 80 clients per month.
  • $35.00 per completed session, when seeing 81-89 clients per month.
  • $40.00 per completed session, when seeing 90-99 clients per month.
  • $43.00 per completed session, when seeing 100 clients per month. 
• We pay 10% of total work hours as additional paid non-clinical time. For example, if you work 40 hours per week, you’ll receive4 hours of paid non-clinical time to support your administrative or other tasks.
