The Philadelphia area is seeing rapid growth in the Modern Orthodox community and there has been substantial institutional growth for Kohelet Yeshiva. Kohelet Yeshiva embarked upon an ambitious 10 Year Strategic Financial Plan anchored by lead gifts of $35 million.
Position Summary
The Director of Admissions, Enrollment, and Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive admissions, create a seamless enrollment experience and enhance community engagement. This role requires a proactive, organized and warm professional who can build relationships, manage outreach efforts, and oversee the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The position is full-time, on-site, with some hours required outside the regular workweek to support events, open houses, and other engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of the admission and enrollment management process in the recruitment and enrollment of mission-aligned students.
Oversee the planning and execution of recruitment events for prospective and new students and families, including open houses, parlor meetings, information sessions, and other programs.
Manage the online admissions process and portal.
Develop, maintain and analyze enrollment data to drive informed decision-making.
Guide prospective families through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
Lead and manage on-campus tours for prospective families.
Oversee the systematic, efficient, and confidential handling of applications and student-related information.
Represent the school to prospective students and families and in the community.
Coordinate and manage applicant visit days.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with feeder schools and other constituencies relevant to recruitment.
Serve as a key point of contact for prospective families, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions process.
Ensure consistent messaging and outreach to prospective families and on the website.
Maintain a warm and positive relationship with students, their families and staff.
Qualifications :
Excellent organizational, tech and time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or commensurate experience.
Strategic thinker with a passion for education and community engagement.
Excellent written, oral communication and follow through skills.
Proficiency with admissions and CRM software, Veracross preferred.
The ability to balance multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Team player who has a warm, collaborative nature and positive energy.
Familiarity with the Jewish community and knowledge of Jewish customs and practices.
Strong leadership / management, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
