Kohl’s is currently hiring Vice President, Regional Managers to join our store teams in locations across the country. As Vice President, Regional Manager of Stores, you will provide leadership for a region including multiple Districts and 60-100 Stores, consistently monitoring results, driving execution of priorities, and setting clear goals. You will be responsible for creating and establishing the functional store strategy in alignment with Kohl’s goals to propel the business forward.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsibilities include :
Reviewing and analyzing regional sales and operational reports
Using data to drive sales, profitability and deliver on target goals
Balancing multiple perspectives and exploring options and challenges to drive change and strategic decision making
Consistently monitoring results, and meeting or exceeding sales, profit and productivity goals
Thinking strategically, utilizing insights, and staying abreast of market trends to help inform future strategy
Understanding and articulating the connection between function, the wider organization, and the individual; considering implications across business functions
Focusing on possibilities of using external perspectives and networks to seek new opportunities for long term growth while encouraging others to do the same
Understanding short and long term impacts of business decisions, and accurately forecasting potential outcomes through an advanced knowledge of business operations and financial management
Building relationships with relevant networks in the industry outside of Kohl’s
Using coaching to facilitate and challenge others to move beyond obstacles into solutions
Building trusting, mutually supportive relationships through genuine interactions, demonstrating a commitment to others
Readily monitoring and coaching talent across the organization, and promoting coaching and mentoring relationships
Setting the highest standard for talent development, holding all parties accountable for meeting crucial future talent needs across the business
WHO YOU ARE
You have 8-10 years progressive retail experience, a minimum 5-7 years store management experience (preferably in a high volume, big box environment), and 4-6 years experience managing multi-unit business leaders. A Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is preferred. Additionally, some capabilities that will contribute to your success in this role :

Ability for daytime and overnight travel (approx 80% of the time) is required.
