Sr. Firmware QA Engineer

In your role as Senior Firmware QA Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will: Establish testing patterns, best practices, and increase test coverage (in partnership with engineers). Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns. Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates or potential problems. Skills/Requirements Required Qualifications: You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a software QA Engineer, with at least 3 testing embedded Firmware. Experience with functional, regression, and end to end testing for hardware components. Experience with test automation tools/frameworks for hardware/firmware validation. Contribute and grow our existing Python automation framework to expand our test coverage. Collaborate with the firmware team to ensure proper firmware test capabilities for new features. Ability to work independently and within a testing team. Availability to work outside of standard business hours to be able to collaborate with teams and vendors across multiple time zones. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices. Proficient in at least one programming language.
