Marketing Apprentice (Youth Apprentice Opportunity)

Are you a student eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing and the financial industry? Join our team as a Marketing Apprentice at KCU and jumpstart your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop valuable skills in content creation, digital marketing, project management, and much more-all while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to your growth. Work between 10-20 hours per week, starting at $13.00 per hour. No prior experience is required, and we offer flexible shifts, including after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain Adobe product templates and files (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Prepare marketing materials (cut and print posters, flyers, handouts).
• Assist with writing marketing content, including ads, articles, and blog posts.
• Edit and post company YouTube videos.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns and product plans.
• Stay updated on marketing trends and conduct internet research.
• Manage branch orders and promotional item inventory.
• Assist with special projects, including administrative marketing tasks.
• Participate in meetings focused on strategy, budget planning, and material distribution.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of intranet and website content.
• Create and analyze web marketing reports using Google Analytics.
• Assist with community event preparations, packing, material distribution, and inventory tracking.
• Conduct market and financial research to analyze competitors.
• Manage and post emails for current campaigns, events, and notices.
• Help implement rate changes on the website using Silverstripe.

Additional Responsibilities (Investment & Retirement Services):

• Post content on the I&RS LPL-approved website and social media.
• Create monthly calendars and coordinate with the Program Sales Manager.

Basic Qualifications for Marketing Apprentice (Youth Apprentice Opportunity):

• Currently a student eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in marketing.
• Strong interest in marketing, content creation, and digital media.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on various marketing tasks.
• Flexible and reliable with the ability to manage time effectively.
