Role Overview:
As a Member Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for members, guiding them through the process of opening accounts and onboarding while creating valuable connections. You'll also have the opportunity to identify and recommend the right products and services tailored to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build lasting connections with both new and existing members, helping them achieve their financial goals by recommending KCU products and services.
- Meet and exceed performance goals related to cross-selling, accuracy, and providing outstanding member service.
- Follow established procedures for managing accounts, ensuring security and precision during account openings, closings, and maintenance.
- Interact with members clearly and professionally, whether in person, by phone, or via email.
- Handle member concerns with empathy, offering solutions and assistance when necessary.
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to help meet the credit union's goals.
What We're Seeking:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a customer service or sales-driven role preferred.
- Compliance: Ability to adhere to industry standards and regulations.
