Job Summary:
Kohler HealthCare (KHC) is a full-service advisory firm offering consulting services to a variety of healthcare providers, payers, and attorneys. Our consulting services include operational and nursing efficiency assessments; billing and coding audits; compliance reviews; survey and accreditation preparation and readiness; clinical documentation improvement program evaluations; case management program structure reviews, and interim management.
The Manager-Healthcare Data Analytics role requires a motivated problem solver with strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a desire to collaborate with others in analyzing data to support the company's overall goals. The work will include both executing and overseeing work engagements while providing internal compliance with respect to data governance and security.
Key responsibilities include designing statistical and financial analyses, modeling financial data, ensuring quality control and crosswalks for litigation cases, developing and presenting client deliverables, managing client relationships, conducting industry research, and contributing to the firm’s overall marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a high level of ingenuity and knowledge of pertinent software and program tools utilizing analytical methods to advance the firm's ability to effectively provide solutions to issues that arise with KHC clients.
- Plan and manage multiple client engagements.
- Design project management work plans and provide instruction while monitoring the progress of the team so as to meet engagement deadlines and review work products for completeness and accuracy.
- Design and create client deliverables while participating in workgroups to provide data-driven acumen.
- Manage client relationships and communicate with outside attorneys and executive leadership of clients in coordinating deliverables as appropriate.
- Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
- Participate in group calls and contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure security and authorized access of Protected Health Information (PHI) from clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with an undergraduate level understanding of statistics, finance, and healthcare laws and regulations. Familiarity with the healthcare revenue cycle and reimbursement processes is also required.
- A minimum of eight years of work experience in data analytics, specifically focused on understanding the healthcare system.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to independently execute complex data analyses in at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, Python), preferably in two languages.
- High-level experience using the Microsoft platform, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
- Strong familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with Azure SQL Server Cloud and DevOps a strong plus, especially the administration of databases.

Work Hours and Location:
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- After-hours support may be needed based on client deliverables and needs.
