We are currently seeking a motivated Insurance Agent and Patient Care Specialist to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of managing Medicare plans, assisting patients with packaged medications, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Medicare Plan Management:
- Guide patients in selecting and managing Medicare plans tailored to their individual needs.
- Stay up-to-date on Medicare regulations and changes to ensure patients receive optimal coverage.
- Act as a trusted advisor to help patients navigate their insurance options.
Packaged Medications:
- Coordinate the setup and delivery of packaged medications for patients.
- Communicate with patients and physicians to ensure accuracy in prescriptions and delivery schedules.
- Monitor patient accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and adherence to medication plans. Customer Service:
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable support to patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year degree (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
- At least 2 years of customer service experience (healthcare or insurance experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and willingness to learn new software programs.
