About the Role
As Loss Prevention Assistant Supervisor, you will assist in Loss Prevention activities within the Distribution Center. You will schedule, supervise and train staff, perform physical security, report policy and procedure violations to leadership, investigate internal theft, monitor processes, audit compliance, and perform data entry, documentation and Gatehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
Act as main contact for store inquiries and communication
Act as the lead Loss Prevention associate on duty, in the event the Loss Prevention Manager is not present
Serve as the liaison between Distribution Center and Loss Prevention
Verify the accuracy of data entry of Distribution Center Loss Prevention associates
Assist in the protection of Kohl’s physical, human and profit assets
Professionally monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl’s Department Stores and the Distribution Center
Report incidents of associate theft or safety violations
Participate in internal theft investigations, in strict adherence to Kohl's policies and guidelines
Monitor all Kohl’s Department Stores and Distribution Center safety policies and procedures and actively participate in the Distribution Center Safety Committee
Perform Distribution Center loss prevention audits to measure Distribution Center accuracy
Report production fraud or short-cuts by associates
Demonstrate proficiency and train Distribution Center Loss Prevention associates in all processes of the Distribution Center
Monitor associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines
Perform data entry of all audit results and assigned information
Perform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry, as described in the Gatehouse section of the Distribution Center Loss Prevention Manual
Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement and/or Store Loss Prevention experience
Regular and prompt attendance
Certification in the use of power equipment to aid in investigations
Preferred
Auditing experience
Working knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PeopleSoft
Special Requirements
Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
