Field Installation Crew Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage a team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew on-site to ensure efficient workflow.
• Prepare job site layout using a total station instrument. Use drawing provided by the CAD designer to lay out the foundation footprint and ensure proper placement of walls.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies on installation trucks for day-to-day operations.
• Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance of trucks and installation equipment is performed promptly and meets the OEM and state-mandated schedules.
• Manage project scheduling and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards set by SWA specifications.
• Train and mentor crew members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
• This is a traveling position, so you must be willing to travel to work sites for 1-3 days at a time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and project scheduling techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
