Job Summary
This position will work in a therapeutic setting with individuals aged 8-21 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Staff members will engage constantly and supervise the individuals, implementing programs tailored to each person's needs based on their individualized plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with individuals aged 8-21 with autism spectrum disorder
- Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to teach expected behavior and life skills
- Develop and implement programs specific to each individual's needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate in English
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals
- Experience implementing ABA techniques
