Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The EMT will play a critical role in implementing the COVID-19 Shelter Prevention Strategy and Wellness Hotel initiatives. This position requires a strong background in medical assessment and response, as well as the ability to implement prevention and outbreak control measures effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Implement COVID-19 Shelter Prevention Strategy and Wellness Hotel protocols.
- Conduct temperature and symptom pre-screening for residents.
- Ensure proper training and adherence to prevention and outbreak control measures.
- Administer testing for residents as needed.
- Promote health awareness and wellness at the WEHC and Center.
- Monitor and evaluate the overall response, ensuring data collection for assessment and improvement.
Requirements:
- Valid EMT certification or higher medical qualification.
- Ability to assess and respond to medical needs promptly and effectively.
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to outbreak prevention and control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
