Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assist with admission procedures, including patient orientation and contraband searches
✅ Identify and record patient valuables
✅ Monitor and report significant patient status changes to medical staff
✅ Support patients with bathing, hygiene, and dietary needs
✅ Maintain a safe and clean environment following fire safety and infection control protocols
✅ Provide de-escalation support and therapeutic engagement for anxious and agitated patients
✅ Escort and supervise patients during appointments, legal proceedings, and other activities
✅ Document patient behaviors, including suicidal tendencies, medication effects, and mental status
✅ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions

Qualifications & Requirements:

✔ Mental Health Worker (MHW) experience in acute psychiatric care (preferred)
✔ CPR/BLS certification (required)
✔ COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
✔ Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
