Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to established protocols
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Instruct patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Experience:
- Experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including but not limited to:
- Behavioral health
- Esthetic laser treatment
- Cardiac catheterization
- Pain management
- Memory care
- Neonatal ventilator
- Critical care
- Home care
Skills:
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and make appropriate decisions regarding their care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
- CPR certification required
- Additional certifications or specialized training in relevant areas of nursing practice are a plus
