Medical Aide (paraprofessional)
Full-Time/Grant Funded
Darrough Chapel Early Learning Center
Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week during the school year.
Hourly Wage: $12.28 per hour

Responsibilities: Assist Nurse with medical needs for students. Medical data entry and follow-up with parents on receiving required medical information for Head Start compliance. Assist Nurse with mandatory screenings. Assist with general main office tasks. Participate in the annual program self-assessment. Organize and host bi-annual medical advisory meeting, partner with community partners for medical needs and assist with annual health fair. Attend Head Start mandatory training and follow Head Start Performance Standards, as well as early childhood licensing requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check, physical and other mandatory Head Start requirements. Deadline to receive applications is Friday, April 11, 2025, or until filled.
Minimum Qualifications Desired: High school diploma required. Computer literate including working with Excel and learning program specific computer tracking system. Ability to understand and follow Head Start Performance Standards. Must be flexible and patient and work well with preschool age children.
