STEM Elementary Physical Education Teacher
Elwood Haynes Elementary School
Grade Levels: K -5
Positions begin with the 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities: Prepare students for the technological world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using project- and inquiry-based experience; utilize interactive technology programs and a variety of computing devices and resources to provide active engagement for students; receive ongoing training (summer and school year) in instructional strategies; revise curriculum to meet inquiry-based approach; participate in district and building-level professional development; collaborate with other teachers.
Certification and Qualifications: Valid Indiana teaching license (Elementary Generalist K-6 or Physical Education K-6 or P-12). Certification; demonstration of leadership; strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration; history of using differentiated strategies in instruction; demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction.
