Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Woodland, California
Pay: $18 per hour, depending on experience
Anticipated Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Woodland, California. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for assisting with the production of cannabis products, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis production techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of cannabis products, including but not limited to concentrates, edibles, and tinctures.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records for each product produced.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of raw materials.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
- Document and track production outputs, including inventory, yields, and product specifications.
- Perform quality control tests to ensure product purity and potency.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and goals.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cannabis manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with cannabis extraction, formulation, or other production processes.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a cannabis manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in cannabis extraction is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
