General Laborer
Kolbe Striping in Castle Rock, CO is seeking to hire full-time entry-level General Laborers to help us keep the public safe by painting lines on the roads. Do you enjoy working outside? GENERAL LABORER ROLE
As a General Laborer, you assist us in painting lines on the roadways. You are eager to learn and happy to help where you are needed. The projects you work on include airport work, major highway work, and cities/town work. For each project, you haul and move materials to the job site and are sure to keep things organized. To prep the site, you shovel and sweep asphalt and assist with the marking layout. You lay striping materials on the roadway and operate machinery and equipment. By learning how to use each of our different product lines, we are able to find out what you have an aptitude for and offer the opportunity to grow and advance with the company and build a career. Meanwhile, you get to enjoy being able to travel the beautiful state of Colorado.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good with tools and equipment
- Willing to travel locally and out of town
- Ability to work overtime
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand, bend, crawl, climb, kneel, squat, and twist throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Ability to pass a drug test
Construction or laborer experience is a plus. Highway/road construction is preferred but not required. A driver's license wth a good driving record is very helpful for driving crews between job sites.
