Position Summary: As a Compounder, you will be responsible for compounding batches, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with GMP standards. This role involves physical labor and requires basic computer skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Compound batches and maintain accurate documentation (Batch Card, Move Ticket, etc.) following GMP guidelines.
- Verify weighed batches for correct chemicals and weights from pre-weigh.
- Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment and work areas as required.
- Ensure proper closure of raw material containers to prevent cross-contamination.
- Document and maintain tank logs, batch retains, and micro-sampling records.
- Weigh batch ingredients and make necessary adjustments.
- Serve as a trainer for junior compounders.
- Perform chemical inventory reporting and assist in multiple areas of manufacturing as needed.
- Operate a forklift and follow supervisor’s instructions for shading.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and willingness to work mandatory overtime.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
