Position Summary: Bar Backs are responsible for supporting the bartenders in set up and break down of assigned department. Handles all requests in a timely and accurate manner and responsible for adhering to all cleaning and sanitation guidelines.

• Retrieve orders from storeroom, visually check stock and reconcile with written requisitions to ensure order accuracy and re-check stock upon delivery
• Able to adhere to a fast paced, changing environment
• Consistently interacts with guests in a courteous, polite manner.
• Ensures timing and flow of service by providing needed items for bartenders.
• Completes all assigned side work.
• Basic knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer.
• Adheres to state liquor laws.
• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis.
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily. Insure rotation and product quality.
• Maintain the bar and lounge areas in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
• Operate glass washers as necessary, placing clean glassware in its place, checking often to ensure sufficient supply is always available.
• Replenish ice as needed and requested.
• Sweep and mop behind the bar areas as needed.
• Works with bartender to ensure the bar area is stocked well with paper products, straws, stirrers, etc.
• All other tasks as assigned by your manager or Hotel Management.
