RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages construction projects that include renovations, design/build, design/bid/build, and ground-up, for USACE, NAVFAC, Air Force, US Coast Guard, and other federal entities.
- Develops Master schedules, project budget, milestones, and projections for all projects assigned.
- Supervise direct reports, including lower-level project managers, to ensure effective project execution and team development.
- Monitors the progress schedules and make revisions as needed to ensure the projects stays on track.
- Manages project financials including budgets, projections, and forecasts.
- Prepares project reports, financial updates, and scorecards for management and clients.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develops strong relationships with clients and establishes clear lines of communication.
- Oversees administrative teams and filed supervisors.
- Works with the Superintendent insure progress is being made and issues are being resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with the recruiting team during the hiring process for project team members.
- Provides estimating support during the bidding process.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of project close-out reports.
- Participates in personnel evaluations and development plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Manager, Engineering, or related filed is preferred.
- 10 years construction project management experience is required
- 5 years federal government contracting experience is required
- CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED is highly desired.
- We expect our PM's to have a natural desire to coach and mentor their teams.
- Strong technical skills and computer skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
