Job Overview

Join our dynamic North American Digital Office and Customer Solutions team as a Change Management Specialist! In this exciting role, you'll play a crucial part in helping customers successfully adopt new digital solutions. You'll focus on developing and executing change management plans, including strategies for effective communication, training, guidance, and managing the impact of these changes.

Based in Chicago, this role may involve occasional travel (up to 10%). You'll collaborate closely with end-user customers, dealers, external contractors, and other teams within Komatsu responsible for digital solutions. The Change Management Specialist position reports to the Sr Manager of Customer Support and Change Management.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Change Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful adoption of Komatsu's digital solutions across North America. This includes :

  • Internal and External Communication : Facilitate communication and build relationships between internal teams, customers, and dealers to understand and address the impact of change initiatives.
  • Change Management Planning : Assist in developing and implementing change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and coaching support for impacted end-users.
  • End-User Support : Provide guidance and support to end-users during periods of change, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and technologies.
  • Customer Feedback : Gather and analyze customer feedback on digital solutions to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Success Monitoring : Track the progress of change initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend adjustments to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in communications , MIS, Business Information Systems, Marketing, or other related fields.
  • Experience in Change Management is preferred but not required.
  • Organizational & Time Management Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and efficiently manage your time to complete projects effectively.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to clearly and concisely convey information to others and actively listen to their needs and concerns.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and analyze issues, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration : Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and share knowledge to achieve team goals.
  • Enthusiasm & Learning Agility : A strong desire to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to seeking out new knowledge and skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
