Job Purpose
The Cloud Cybersecurity Architect is part of the MTS Cloud Center of Excellence, reporting to the Cloud Manager / Architect. The role will support key development projects in Azure as it pertains to cybersecurity architecture, security controls to address vulnerabilities, and incident response.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel between Milwaukee and Tucson
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain continuing education on the latest security standards and best practices.
- Develop security baselines that will drive the identification and implementation of security controls.
- Identify and implement detective, preventative, and corrective security controls at the appropriate scope.
- Consult with application teams to identify and remediate security findings.
- Develop and maintain repeatable processes to review and document cloud service and application security.
- Mentor application teams and junior personnel to strengthen security awareness and best practices.
