Job Overview
We have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join our corporate IT team. This role is working onsite and can be based at our corporate offices in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O'Hare). As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts within a project or team. Your role will involve coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing test strategies, executing tests, and ensuring the overall quality of deliverables.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Provide guidance to testers and provide directions on test script documentation and review once they are ready.
- Oversee the manual and automated test execution ensuring thorough coverage of functional requirements.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
- Develop Test Automation scripts as needed.
- Implement corrective actions based on the root cause analysis of the defects.
- Track Production and UAT defects and ensure the counts are within the threshold defined.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and clients, to provide status updates, escalate issues, and solicit feedback.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with overall project goals and timelines.
