The Design Engineer will work across product lines assisting our engineering team with a variety of design and execution tasks. While identifying potential product and process improvements, the Design Engineer will use 3D modeling and Inventor Suite of software specifically to aid Komline transition from its’ legacy product portfolio to 3D. Additionally, the Design Engineer may support sales, manufacturing, and / or field services teams on technical issues.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Design ongoing work in dryers, dewatering systems, filter presses, filters, and process filtration equipment and rotating machinery
- Design improvements of assigned products with an emphasis on engineering and problem solving
- Develop engineered solutions for customer projects
- Cost reduction leadership (interacts with manufacturing, marketing, and engineering teams to reduce costs)
- Implements best practices for 3D drafting
