The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management, providing comprehensive Human Resource (HR) guidance and support to assigned business units. The HRBP is the primary liaison between the HR department and business leaders, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives while advocating for employee needs. The HRBP will develop, implement, and evaluate HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, drive employee engagement, and support organizational growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand departmental goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to managers and employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and cultural transformations
- Collaborate with the HR team on company-wide initiatives, policies, and programs
- Identify and address training and development needs within assigned departments
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
- Conduct compensation analysis and make recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and job reclassifications
- Coach and advise managers on employee engagement, retention strategies, and leadership development
- Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Manage employee relations issues by conducting investigations when necessary and recommending appropriate resolutions
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation when necessary
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify improvement opportunities
- Support Talent Acquisition in recruitment efforts by participating in the hiring process; coordinate interviews and assist with onboarding new employees
- Serve as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Human Resources or Organizational
- Management preferred
- Five years of progressive experience in human resources with experience in a manufacturing environment desired
- Communicate effectively with people at all levels inside the organization is critical to success in the role
- Highly organized and able to work with a superb attention to detail
- Desire to be a part of an entrepreneurial, energetic team and handle a wide range of responsibilities
- Must be able to travel to various office locations up to 25%
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed
