About the Job
We're currently seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team of experts. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and improving existing products, utilizing your skills in 3D modeling and Inventor Suite software to support Komline's transition to a 3D-centric portfolio.
You'll work closely with our engineering team, collaborating on design and execution tasks, and may provide support to sales, manufacturing, and field services teams on technical issues related to various product lines.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design, including knowledge of power transmission systems, machine components, piping, structural steel, welding, gears, motors, machinery, and fabricating processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks), and Vault
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
