Job Description
The Design Engineer will play a key role in Komline's continued growth and success by contributing to the development of innovative products and solutions. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing improvements to existing product lines, as well as developing engineered solutions for customer projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and product improvements using 3D modeling software such as Inventor Suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, and field services to provide technical support and ensure successful project execution.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement best practices for 3D drafting.
- Develop and maintain accurate designs, drawings, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design, including knowledge of power transmission systems, machine components, piping, structural steel, welding, gears, motors, machinery, and fabricating processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks), and Vault.
- Good working knowledge of Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
