Duties:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce plastic products
- Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform regular machine maintenance and cleaning
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Experience with plastics extrusion and injection molding
- Proficiency in using calipers for precise measurements
- Ability to operate machinery such as lathes and fabricating tools
- Knowledge of logic controllers for equipment operation
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles for efficient production
- Strong materials handling skills for moving raw materials and finished products
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is a plus
- Ability to assemble and fabricate components accurately
