Role Overview :
The Maintenance Technician ensures smooth, uninterrupted production by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and handling facility repairs. This hands-on role is vital to minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment in our high-volume food facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment (mixers, conveyors, ovens, refrigeration).
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor and document equipment performance, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
- Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general repairs.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance equipment efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and food safety standards.
- Support additional projects and perform other tasks as assigned.
