Job Description
Komodo is seeking a highly organized and driven Head of Operations to oversee and optimize internal processes, team resourcing, and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder and working closely with senior leadership, the Head of Operations will play a critical role in scaling the agency’s infrastructure while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and client management across departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys driving structure, clarity and delivery.
Responsibilities
Strategic Operations & Planning:
• Lead the development and implementation of operational systems and best practices across the business.
• Support the Founder and senior leadership team with cross-functional planning, tracking, and execution.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and performance.
Team & Resource Management:
• Oversee team resourcing across departments to ensure workloads are balanced and projects are appropriately staffed.
• Collaborate with department leads to forecast team capacity and hiring needs.
• Support in onboarding and internal systems to improve employee experience and performance tracking.
• Assist in hiring and recruiotment process.
Project Oversight:
• Assist in ensuring projects and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
• Create and manage reporting frameworks that track performance metrics and KPIs.
• Help drive accountability, alignment and clarity within the business.
Finance & Budgeting:
• Work with finance teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Track operational spend and identify ways to drive efficiencies.
Culture & Communication:
• Help champion a positive, high-performance culture across the team.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication of goals, updates, and changes.
• Support in organizing key internal meetings, training sessions, and company-wide communications.
Qualifications
• 4 years experience in an operational role, preferably within a creative, marketing or agency environment.
• Proven success implementing scalable systems and processes.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across teams and influence without direct authority.
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-driven.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing, fast paced and dynamic agency.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
