Seasonal Event Specialist/Driver

We are looking for motivated and charismatic part-time/seasonal drivers to join our local Krew. Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years clean driving history. This is a fast-paced and fun job in a growing company where each day will never be like the last. We participate in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports, games, tournaments, large festivals, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get-togethers, weddings, birthdays, and other unique events.

Kona Ice drivers need to have flexible schedules with a focused priority on meeting the needs of our customers. If you consistently ask for more hours, step up to fill in for others when needed, and want to make a lot of money then working here is a perfect fit. Working with children is non-negotiable.

Kona Ice Driver/Event Specialist Responsibilities:

• Represent the Kona Ice brand by delivering a memorable experience and outstanding customer service
• Responsible for operating Kona Ice equipment and maintaining trucks and equipment to brand standards
• Drive safely to scheduled events and greet customers courteously
• Serve and sell gourmet shaved ice, ice cream, and snack items
• Take orders, process payment, and ensure transactions are complete and to customer satisfaction
• Provide superior service to clients and customers with speed and accuracy
• Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment and work well with other team members
• Comply with hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines
• Perform basic cleaning of trucks/warehouse
• Complete beginning- and end-of-shift prepping and stocking
• Must be able to read, count, and accurately complete documentation
• Communicate maintenance & inventory needs to appropriate staff

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Have a great driving record
• Minimum of 2 years driving history
• Open availability on nights, weekend and some holidays
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 lbs.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Strong self-initiative, and problem solving
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Be comfortable and able to work with children
• Basic math skills
