Our client is TIBS for Kids in Virginia is offering full-time, PRN, and part-time positions for an SLPA at all locations in Virginia (Fredericksburg, Woodbridge, Springfield, Manassas, Herndon/Ashburn) locations. Pediatric experience is highly preferred but not required.
Job Summary
Below is the full job description of the position:
Under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, this position assists in supplementing, enhancing and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) serves children who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well. This is a 12-month position.

Hiring Range: ($35 - $55.00/hour) based on experience, availability, and qualifications

Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Communication Sciences
- Ability to Commute to the selected location
- Must have SLPA license/certification
