In the role of Citrix Administrator IV you'll play a pivotal part in advising, assisting, informing, training and alerting to systems in their scope of Citrix solutions. You'll have the opportunity to manage directly all or a part of projects involving citrix solutions. The Citrix Administrator IV is involved on the architecture evolution and on the technical qualification of platforms or components, and will be involved in related BUILD and RUN activities.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Responsible for the optimal functioning of Citrix solutions and components
Implements the tools guaranteeing the coherence of the Citrix infrastructure;
Has global vision of information Citrix and Information systems and good knowledge of the related company processes;
Develops rules for using the necessary Citrix tools, in accordance with company standards;
Manages and maintains the Citrix infrastructure and other infrastructures (Servers, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, etc..) when needed;
Installs and configured the active part of the Citrix solutions and necessary related software tools;
Help define roadmap for the Citrix environments (new hardware, software version, sourcing strategy);
Relocation assistance may be offered for this position.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field - preferred.
Requires 10-15 years experience in Citrix administration and support.
Knowledge/Skills
Citrix knowledge and administration Expert (required)
Citrix App and Desktop Virtualization including 3D VDI Expert (Required)
General hardware familiarity Basic (preferred)
VMware Administration Basic (preferred)
General Systems Administration Basic (preferred)
Windows Server Concepts and knowledge Basic (preferred)
Demonstrate Citrix Engineering and Architecture skills advanced (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skils Advanced (English required)
Good knowledge of the ITIL Process Basic (required).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Citrix CCP-V, CCA-V preferred
VMware VCA, VCP preferred
