Responsibilities
Conduct interpreting for consultations, client meetings, trial preparations, etc. both in person and telephonically.
Provides consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish, English, Portuguese and vice versa.
Performs sight translations for clients and attorneys of legal documents.
Attends USCIS interviews with clients and attorneys.
Performs document translations between interpreting sessions.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals to enhance office effectiveness.
Maintains client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications
Candidate should be motivated self-starters, who is able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and the legal team.
Candidate must have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate should possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving clients.
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.
Candidate should have the willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or Associate Degree with two years minimum experience of interpreting
Certification: Translator/Interpreter Certification (Preferred)
Fluent in both Spanish and English
Experienced: Two years of interpreting and translating experience
