Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Paralegal Intern to support our legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in immigration law and public interest advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining case files
- Support attorneys in preparing legal documents and USCIS applications
- Conduct basic legal research and review supporting evidence
- Scan, file, and maintain confidential records
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates
- Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and administrative support
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (Pre-Law, Political Science, International Relations, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese (preferred)
- Prior immigration law exposure or coursework (preferred)
- Demonstrated interest in immigration, advocacy, or public interest law
