Job Description
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to support our major national accounts with operational and sales activities. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for retaining, growing, and increasing the value of the account, asset/capital planning, contract management, and ensuring the customer's performance goals and account management objectives are met or exceeded.
Daily Customer Communication & Equipment Performance
You will serve as the primary point of contact with customers for operational and project updates, contract repairs, down units, entrapments, inspections, quoted repairs, modernization, and new equipment opportunities. You will address all aspects of customer concerns and ensure compliance with scope, terms, and conditions of contracts.
Sales
You will use solution selling techniques to identify new sales opportunities with customers and handle all aspects of the sales process, including negotiating, tendering, proposal presentations, and more.
Reporting & Presenting Account Performance
You will analyze data and communicate with branches to share with customers and identify needed actions.
Relationship Management
You will establish and build relationships with C-suite level leadership and other stakeholders within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related industry
- In lieu of degree, 7-10 years senior account management or sales management experience
The ideal candidate will have understanding of sales and operations of all business lines, financial acumen, and collaboration skills ranging from written to verbal. General management experience is desirable.
