Konecranes is seeking a CNC Programmer to collaborate with a team of people dedicated to the success of our customers. Attitude is key. Having a positive attitude will allow the team to operate at a high level of energy.
This position will work with existing overhead cranes and hoists in the Konecranes legacy parts business. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Specific responsibilities include:
- CNC programming of horizontal and vertical lathes and machining centers
- Knowledge post processors for machine tool programs
- Design fixtures and equipment as needed for continuous improvements
- Update and implement new versions of programming software working with internal tech support
- Standardization of methods for machining, capital equipment projects, improvement of manufacturing cells and miscellaneous projects as assigned
- Work closely with shop floor personnel on setup reduction, process improvements, quality improvements to include tooling with new technologies, fixturing, and time studies
Required Qualifications:
- Machining Industry Tooling Knowledge
- Experience Programming: Johnford Gantry Mill, Kitamura Mills & Okuma CNC Machines Preferred
- Experience Machining All Types of Materials
- Ability to Read Blueprints
- GD&T Knowledge
- Efficient Worker
- Attention to Detail & Safety Precautions
