Title: Human Resources Manager
Reports to: HR, Vice President, Region Americas
The main purpose of the Human Resources Manager is to collaborate and lead HR activities in his/her Business Area and ensure consistency and quality of HR services for Business Area leaders and managers. The Human Resources Manager acts as a business partner for business management. S/he is part of the Regional HR Team and reports to the HR, Vice President, AME
1. Organization support for Business Area management
Human Resources Manager collaborates with the HR, Vice President to apply and implement the people strategy for the Business Area together with the Management according to the Group and Region guidance.
Human Resources Manager implements the organizational development projects in the Business Area and ensures Management received required support in people processes and in day-to-day people topics. In addition, the Human Resources Manager may, from time to time, be nominated by the HR, Vice President to participate and support the Region and Group in such projects.
S/he also supports any acquisition integration and change management activities in the Country/Business Area.
S/he supports implementation of Country/Business Area business strategies and Country/Business Area implementation of group people strategy according to the Group and Region guidance or direction.
2. Tailors and develops HR programs to local needs
Human Resources Manager supports the BAs, Group and local management in implementing their HR strategies in the Country/Business Area.
S/he identifies and implements specific development programs if these are required on local level.
Human Resources Manager supports the Business Area Management in identifying, developing and maintaining the core capabilities of employees in the Business Area and works with the HR, Vice President to ensure the same for the Country.
S/he works with the training organization in supporting and promoting training needed for the Business Area related to HR topics and competency development.
3. Compensation & Benefits performance management.
Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting Management to understand, decide and communicate pay decisions effectively to employees.
S/he ensures the Management teams are able to advise local managers and employees in reward matters.
Human Resources Manager assists Management in the application of the Konecranes Short Term Incentive Policy.
4. Talent Development
Human Resources Manager should assist Management in identifying gaps in needed skills for all respective BAs.
S/he is responsible for assisting Managers with completing Konecranes Talent management process and talent mapping.
S/he assists in succession planning and career path utilization in the Business Area.
5. Employee Relations.
Human Resources Manager ensures that Konecranes is in compliance with local employment laws, regulations and work council processes and, where needed, facilitates the relationship with employee representative, works councils and unions.
EXPERIENCE: At least three years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist or above. Talent Acquisition experience, D&I experience a plus.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Recourses or other corresponding major is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel required, possibly overnight and international. Must have a take charge attitude, be decisive and possess a high level of responsibility. Must be comfortable in a fast pace, growth-oriented environment.
