Marketing & Communications Manager
This position ultimately be responsible for marketing and communication activities in the Americas Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communications: Internal & External
- Internal coms plan and management; calendar and focus areas based on business strategies, plans and sales targets
- External coms plan and management, e.g., webinars, blogs, newsletters, electronic materials, etc. using global materials; calendar and focus areas based on business strategies, plans and sales targets
- Employer branding plan and support with local HR/Recruiting
- Social Media: plan, management, calendar and focus areas
- Campaign and MarCom Sales support
- Coordination with Product & Industry Marketing team (production needs communicated/planned with BA team and executed locally)
- Localized sales support material plan and management; local campaign support plans
- Regional websites oversight/validation
- Promo products brand management e.g., item design
- Localized digital marketing and marketing automation
- Regional event planning and support
EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Management, Journalism, Business or other equivalent area is required.
- MBA with an emphasis on Marketing & Communications is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of experience with internal and external communications including planning, drafting, and managing organization communications.
- 5- 7 years of progressive experience in a marketing & communications role with a large national or multi-national organization in an industrial B2B setting.
- 1-2 years of social media content experience including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Glassdoor, etc.
- Experience with brand management, product positioning, creative design, digital marketing, content writing, trade shows, event planning and hosting, media relations and advertising.
- Experience with employment branding and/or employer reputation establishment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High performing communicator at all levels of the organization and to audiences large and small. Superior communication and team building skills are essential.
- Strategic and creative thinker. Highly motivated big picture thinker with a superior sense of quality and commitment to measuring and achieving results.
- Solid people management and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate and foster peer relationships throughout the matrix organization across multiple disciplines, geographies, and time zones.
- Must be able travel to domestically and internationally.
- French & Spanish language skills would be an asset but not required
