Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and secure global network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing / switching, VPNs, IP services, wireless networks, and redundancy.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance; provide performance statistics and reporting.
- Manage system architecture, administration, and security for Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Office 365 / Azure, and cloud storage solutions.
- Provide desktop and application support to staff and assist with help desk ticketing and incident management.
- Implement, maintain, and upgrade IT systems in alignment with the global IT strategy.
- Contribute to IT budget planning and ensure compliance with budget constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems under primary responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure services and share technical expertise with the team.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
- Collaborate with global teams, including European staff, on projects and initiatives.
- Ensure availability for critical support outside standard hours when necessary.
