Vice President - Inertial Solutions

Kongsberg Discovery is a global technology company providing innovative and reliable solutions in the ocean space. The core of Seatex is the technology backbone of GNSS, inertial, radar, radio frequency and laser. Through these technologies we provide accurate positioning and navigation systems, beamforming radar and radio communication systems, motion measurement, satellite payloads and situational awareness for ocean space applications.

Kongsberg Discovery is looking for a Vice President, Inertial Solutions to lead and develop the Inertial Solutions business unit in our Seatex division. Our division has ambitious organic and in-organic growth plans and is seeking a Vice President to be part of the management team of the division. You will actively contribute to the development of the division from a holistic standpoint reporting to the EVP of Seatex.

The role involves leading a team of eight highly motivated professionals, including product managers, product advisers, and technical engineers, some of whom are recognized as global thought leaders. You will set and follow up on ambitious targets for the Inertial Solutions business unit, oversee the entire product lifecycle from feasibility study to end-of-life, and monitor profitability performance in close collaboration with the finance division. Additionally, the role requires a proactive approach in proposing measures to enhance the Inertial Solutions business and Seatex overall, working closely with sales, supply chain, service, and technology teams.
