Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator with Top- Secret Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in College Park, MD. This is a Hybrid position 2 days required onsite.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to :
Working knowledge of Oracle 11, 12, 13, 19c databases and Oracle Forms
Documentation of database architecture.
Assesses malfunctions of hardware and / or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer, network, and database operations.
Working knowledge of building database scheme, tables, procedures, and permissions.
Analyzes and sustains capacity and performance requirements.
Monitors systems and platforms for availability.
Oversees backup, clustering, mirroring, replication, and failover.
Performs maintenance operations daily, weekly, and monthly on Oracle servers and databases, and information systems for the purpose of ensuring efficient program operations.
Performs database backups and restorations and recovers corrupted databases.
Implements and maintains database security and encryption.
Develops, manages, and tests database and information system backup and recovery plans.
Assist in Backup and Recovery operations including Disaster Recovery planning.
Build operational Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain the service (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly O&M checklists); build Tactics, Techniques and Processes (TTPs) and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) associated with service checklists.
Ensure proactive engagement in Incident Management process, working with cross-functional teams to minimize the impact of database outages.
Top- Secret Security Clearance required
