Kadiak, a Koniag Government Services company, currently has an opening for a Safety & Health Program Manager (SHPM) with a Top Secret Clearance for a long term assignment abroad. This position will be overseas for an extended period of time. The schedule for this role is 10 hour days, 6 days per week.

The Safety & Health Program Manager (SHPM) Must have the following:

  • Must be able to relocate internationally
  • Must be a United States citizen eligible with a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a site construction safety manager on projects involving construction of large concrete commercial/residential buildings, heavy highway and road or concrete works.
  • Must have a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certificate from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • Must have experience with OSHA and EM-385
  • Past experience with DOS/OBO work a plus
  • Typically degreed, preferably in engineering or business field of study with minimum four (4) years of experience. Additional experience accepted in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a construction environment overseas. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
